Jauquin Conton, a 30-year-old single dad, came to our shelter in search of help. He was homeless and caring for his 2-year-old son, Gio. “At first I wasn’t going to come, but everyone gets on their feet from HomeAgain. It’s a smooth program if you follow the steps. For the support they give, you can do it.” He stressed how important it was for his family to stay together and that Gio is the best part of his life. “He has manners. I can’t wait to see him grow. I am going to love that,” he said.
We would like to congratulate him on his new home! His landlord, Dean, overheard him saying he was going to purchase a whiteboard to write down daily goals and decided to buy the board himself and give it to Jauquin as a gift for his new beginning.
