HomeAgain Announces the Appointment of 4 New Board Members
Homeless industry leader welcomes new board members to compliment the organization’s mission of helping families and individuals experiencing homelessness secure and maintain a home, again.
RICHMOND, Va. – HomeAgain announced today the appointment of Latoya Asia, Kaci Easley, Brandy Washington and Kristie White to the Board of Directors. This brings the number of board members to 17.
Latoya Asia is the Director of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning at Dominion Energy and is responsible for leading and developing strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives to promote a diverse and inclusive work culture that attracts and retains the best and brightest to the company. Immediately prior to this role, Latoya served as Managing Counsel, Labor & Employment in Dominion Energy’s Law Department where she, among other things, served as a key and trusted advisor to the company on labor & employment matters.
Kaci Easley, Legislative Affairs Advisory, Dominion Energy, is a native of Charles City, Virginia. In 2014, Kaci was appointed to the staff of Virginia’s Governor Terry McAuliffe as a Confidential Assistant to the Secretary of Natural Resources and then the Director of the Executive Mansion. Kaci has experience in government relations, public affairs, logistics, and marketing – her skill set will complement and serve HomeAgain well in the years to come.
Brandy Washington works currently at Altria as an Associate Manager, Regulatory Strategy Submissions. Brandy describes herself as a scientist by trade, entrepreneur by default, and a strategist at heart. Brandy currently serves as the Chair for Altria’s Black Employee Resource Group’s Development Committee where she leads the initiatives to build and provide resources to enhance the diversity and leadership pipeline at all levels.
Kristie White currently holds the position of Assistant Vice President for Business Solutions and Administrative Services at Virginia Union University, where she provides oversight and leadership to the office of Human Resources and Talent Management, University Police Department, Facilities Management, Business Intelligence and Information Technology within the university. Kristie’s professional tenure began in 2011 at her alma mater Virginia Union University where she has served as Director of Alumni Relations, Director of Enrollment Management, and Assistant Vice President of the Division of Enrollment Management.
HomeAgain is a Richmond-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families and individuals experiencing homelessness secure and maintain a home, again. Through the work of skilled Community Case Managers, HomeAgain works with the Continuum of Care’s Homeless Point of Entry to identify, assess and house single adults and families who are in a housing crisis. Founded in 1980, HomeAgain operates two emergency shelters which serve the Greater Richmond area – the Espigh Family Shelter and Men’s Emergency Shelter in downtown Richmond.
