A note on behalf of HomeAgain’s Board of Directors.
January 10, 2022
The Board of Directors at HomeAgain Richmond is pleased to announce that Mandy Herbert has been appointed as our Interim Executive Director. In 2021, Mrs. Herbert filled the position of Development Director and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new interim role. She has worked in the non-profit industry for 16 years in the areas of development, marketing and communications, and advocacy. Through her previous roles she implemented and directed fundraising strategies to provide financial support for some of the most vulnerable rare and chronic disease populations in the United States in obtaining and affording life-saving treatments.
During her time at HomeAgain, Mandy has excelled in creating meaningful relationships with individuals, corporate and foundation donors and our Staff and Board Members. She has contributed to an increase in charitable contributions to the organization, embraced HomeAgain’s culture, and shown her commitment to ensuring the continued success of our clients, programs and staff. The Board of Directors feel strongly that Mandy will play an important role in setting goals and objectives for the future of the organization while also providing the administrative guidance needed during this time of transition.
As we enter this transition, the Board of Directors and staff want to thank Randy Wilson, former Executive Director, for his commitment to the organization. Randy will be taking a new direction in his career that is complementary to the work he’s done in the Human Service Industry. To aid HomeAgain in this recent change, he will continue to support the organization and Mandy during this transitional time period. We are excited to move forward in this new chapter as an organization and will continue to keep our community updated throughout this year.
HomeAgain Board Co-Presidents,
Maya Crumbaugh Glaser and Donald King
